Check out the great looks on this pre-owned Custom Shop Showmaster. Who can knock that killer flame maple top with its scraped maple binding and 3-tone sunburst finish? We sure can’t. Features on this Showmaster include a “C” shaped maple neck with a rosewood fretboard, abalone dot inlays, 25.5″ scale length, 22 medium jumbo frets, two Fat ’50s single-coil pickups with a Seymour Duncan ’59 in the bridge, master volume and tone controls, 5-way switch, a 2-point tremolo bridge, Sperzel locking tuners, LSR roller nut and chrome hardware.
This Showmaster has some players wear to it with scratches around the back of the body, and a few dings around the edges as well. There is a light amount of fretwear, however none of which affects any notes from ringing out. We think this is a great Custom Shop piece, the Fat ’50s pickups throw out that bell-like chime of a ’50s pickup but with a bit more girth and brightness, and throwing the switch to the ’59 humbucker is great for lead work and solos.
